Yahoo Makes a New Play for Ads on Mobile Phones

Last Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Yahoo announced that it has opened up some of its key mobile software and services to outside publishers and programmers in an effort to make Yahoo's own mobile offerings more useful to more people.

Last word: Yahoo has a strong mobile platform called Yahoo!Go! and making its content available to all is a great way to increase their distribution network. Also as mobiles become a greater access point to the internet the internet players need to be available to users.
